Want to upgrade your steak game?

Well this week we’re tackling the Tag Team Champions of meals:

Steak with Chimichurri Sauce!

This sauce is delicious, flavorful and easy to make! I used a Magic Bullet but you can also you a food processor, blender, or even chop it up by hand and mix it in a bowl. 

Ingredients:

Chimichurri Sauce 

1 Cup Parsley 

3-4 Cloves Garlic 

1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar 

2 Tbsp Fresh or Dried Oregano 

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1/8 Teaspoon Black Pepper

1/4 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions:

Chimichurri Sauce

  • To a Magic Bullet or food processor add: 1 Cup Parsley, 3-4 Cloves Garlic, 1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar, 2 Tbsp Fresh or Dried Oregano, 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, 1/8 Teaspoon Black Pepper, 1/4 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes.

  • Blend to your desired consistency. You can also chop up all ingredients and mix in a bowl.

    Steak

  • Season both sides with salt and pepper

  • Cook on Medium High Heat for 2-3 Minutes per side. If Steak is thick you may need to cook 4-5 minutes per side.

  • The most important part is to let the Steak Rest 10-15 minutes after cooking to let the meat cook internally for the perfect Medium  (*Don’t forget to slice against the grain)
